Understanding architecture.
And the humans inside.
By neuroscience.
We kept arriving at the same conclusion from different directions. An architect. A strategist. A scientist. Three disciplines that rarely sit at the same table, and almost never early enough in a project.
That shared frustration became a conviction: the gap between what the science knows and what gets built is not a knowledge problem. It is a timing problem. The only way to close it is to be present before the decisions are made.
That is why neuecon exists.
Markus is an architect who has spent his career at the point where buildings meet the organizations and communities they are built for. He has worked with Daiana on live projects where evidence-based design drove decisions from the earliest planning stages. He built strategic platforms alongside Christian. He leads the participatory and stakeholder processes that ground every project in its institutional and human context and understands how buildings are made and how the decisions behind them are won or lost.
Daiana holds a doctorate in architecture, specialising in environmental psychology. She has applied the science of human performance as a design driver on built projects, including work alongside Markus. She specialises in perceptual and sensory processing, and in the relationship between spatial conditions and human health, cognition and behaviour. At neuecon she leads the scientific work at the core of the methodology. Every recommendation is traceable to graded evidence.
Christian's background is in business strategy and applied intelligence. Together with Markus he built a global marketplace for architectural concepts, one of the first platforms to address intellectual property protection in architecture. That project taught him how proprietary systems create defensible value in fragmented industries. At neuecon he leads the AI ontology that connects published research to project-specific architectural and economic decisions.
The three of us have worked together since the founding of Concrete Human, a knowledge platform examining the impact of architecture on human health. That work made one thing clear: the science exists, it is compelling, and it almost never reaches the people making the decisions that matter.
neuecon is the professional answer to that problem.
