Research and culture

Bringing research on the built environment and human health to practitioners and to a wider public is part of our commitment beyond our advisory work.

The Built Review

An independent evidence base for practice

Our co-founder Christian Huser publishes The Built Review. Its archive contains more than 15,000 scientific studies.

Concrete Human

A photography exhibition on the built environment and human health

We founded Concrete Human together with The Built Review, the Norwegian photographer André Clemetsen and Ola Elvestuen, Norway's former Minister of Climate and Environment. Its first series, Adjacent Solitude, contains 39 photographs and 25 poems on loneliness in the built environment.
